To communicate the first ever Esports World Cup, a sport with more than 3 billion players worldwide, I helped to create a launch campaign that connected with all different gaming communities of the 15 participant game titles, announcing it not once, but 15 times with a series of digital takeovers across the world.
The campaign generated more than $28M in earned media, reached more than 122M people and had high levels of engagement and conversations around the Esports World Cup, connecting with our audience worldwide and helping to attract 500 million viewers who consumed over 250 million hours of content, and being recognized at the Effie awards (MENA region - Gaming & Esports, Youth Marketing and Seasonal Marketing).
