To reinforce Omantel’s position as the brand of the nation and encourage the domestic tourism in Oman, that was not reaching its full potential among other more popular destinations in the region, I helped to create a Whatsapp campaign hacking a very common behavior in the country of sharing Whatsapp images as morning greetings.

The campaign turned millions of Omanis into domestic tourism influencers, helping to increase the tourism in the country and generate increase on site traffic to VisitOman, while Omantel saw a growth its Whatsapp channel traffic and in positive mentions for the brand. The campaign was recognized in regional award shows as Dubai Lynx (Brand Experience & Activation and PR).
